Daiwa going to Hyper Speed

Picked up a Saltist last spring that served me well pulling blades all summer. I noticed they're coming out with a "Hyper Speed" version with an increased 7.3:1 or 7.1:1 gear ratio and with certain models pulling in over 52" of line per handle turn. Do y'all think this high gear ratio is pushing the limit for stability when burning blades? My old Saltist held up very well and if this new model is just as durable, it'll be tempting to try one out for that extra bit of speed.

Picked one up to last year, thought it would be easier to crank than my normal reels, found out it wasnt so graduated back to using my Toros. I still use it if I find the need for speed but blades were off for us last year and didn't see much use other than in MN.

In order to make the jump worth it you'd have to jump to the 35 (STTLD35HSH), I wonder how much bulk that adds, I mean if that thing is nearing the size of the 40LW that is ALOT of reel. I would be interested to know your thoughts on the reel is you give it a go. Also that lever drag would scare me a bit, not too many place in the north here will know how to service that reel.
