DNR warning for fish consumption

Is it true that the DNR has put out a state wide warning that all pregnant women and children should not eat walleye from any MN waters? I'm skeptical of this given the mercury content info that the DNR provides for each lake, but I was told by what I consider to be a reliable source. Is this warning legit?

P.S. I'm not posting this question to hear people's opinions on this matter, stir the pot, or initiate conversation, I'd just like to know if the DNR issued this warning or not.

Hmm.. I thought things were getting BETTER not worse as far as most metro lakes are concerend. I agree this applies to the Mississippi river system and some of the smaller metro ponds that have run-off from the street, but saying ALL waters is going a little far. I think in general there are people out there making us more paranoid than we should be. I wonder if PETA played a part in this?

I read through all of the info in the links above and it looks like nothing has changed. Eat fish in moderation. Pregnant women and children in particular need to eat small fish and pay particular attention to advisory info on each lake.
Don't keep bigger fish and don't eat fish every other day and it looks like all is good. I can live with that.
