forum speed

Anyone else finding the HSOforum speed almost unbearable? Man I time out and cannot do anything from time to time this evening.

Thats why I posted. I timed out 4 straight times and then it logged into the HSOforum.

I think they're running some type of background script slowing it down... there was a thread on this previously.

Yeah last night extremely slow but this morning seems to be ok so far !

It appears there were network issues last night into this am.

They say it is now fixed.

i dunno about speed, but the past few weeks i've had the reply screen all jittery and jumpy when i'm typing in it with IE. very occasional, but annoying

I have this same issue. Can't see what I am typing after I fill the "box".

Get a Browser besides Internet explorer. Try firefox or google chrome. That should solve your issue with the jittery screen.

yep no issues in firefox, but unfortunately I don't have admin approval in some of the computer labs i work from to install browsers other than IE - so unless I'm at home I'm stuck with IE

Firefox is much smoother. I use both and definitely no issues with firefox.

Might want to contact Microsoft IE on their jittery issue. I don't really know what we can do about it here. Sorry.
