Bowfishing the river..

looking for a spot to bowfish some carp, i know its gonna have to be on a river, but if anyone knows where i can get on and if there just might be some carp. let me know!! thanks

just a hint, it might help others help you if you gave them even bare bones information one what part of the state you're looking to go

You can bow fish for carp and other rough fish out of a darkhouse on lakes in the winter also.

I would imagine it would be pretty hard to pick a good spot to do this though, since many carp in one spot can lead to thin ice.

Just something to keep in mind though.
