If you guys have the app can you look at lake winona and see if it is the same maps as the DNRs HSOforum? If so its not worth it but if its more accurate I would buy it right now

The maps on here are much more clear than the MN DNR maps...........Plus you can see exactly where you are on the map, instead of guessing. I think they are accurate. I used the map on Lake Winona last week, and it was accurate. Here are a couple of screen caps from my phone of Lake Winona.

screen caps

The maps are much clearer on the actual phone!

Anyone use this app on a T-Mobile phone?

Yep, I have Tmobile. I have a Galaxy S. App works perfect with exception of contours being lost when you turn on map overlay. I've emailed Navionics and it appears others have too. They said they are working on a fix. End of the day, map overlay is nice but unnecessary for the lakes/areas I fish so I get by just fine. App is great! If you have a droid, fish and don’t have it, something is wrong with you! wink

I consider it another tool to use. I have found it to be pretty accurate on multiple different lakes I fish and for $13 (US dollars, the price is quoted in Euros) you cannot go wrong.

For a guy like me who doesn't have a gps let alone a gps with a $100 lake chip this $13 was very well spent. I've only used the app once so far and it put me exactly on the edge of the hole I wanted to be on. I was even impressed as I parked right on a 20 foot contour line and sure enough 20 feet exactly. It may not be the same as a $500 setup but since I had $13 and not $500 to spend it was well worth it to me.

Running it on a ATT Motorola Backflip Android phone.
