Minnesota limits

Take what you are going to eat. 4-6 decent sized gills is a good meal.
Keep the rest stored in the lake alive, they stay fresh longer than in the freezer.. grin.gifgrin.gifgrin.gif

4 or 5 isnt enough for a meal for me unless they are huge. with me and the wife and 2 growing boys we eat a bit more than that. but i see your point. dont take more than you need for a meal!

a bad day at the lake is better than a good day at work

The limit for one person alone fishing is just perfect. But when you get 2 or 3 of you fishing in the same boat then it can really add up. And then 40 sunnies can be a lot.
But given I eat my fish with my family at times its nice to keep 40 sunfish between 2 people but otherwise its mainly a selective harvest for less than 1 limit or just CPR.

And keep those hooks sharp!
