I was on minniwaska last year fishing sunnies and everyone that I saw spearing were mixed in with the pan fishermen and a few guys on the outskirts or the groups.

One guy that I talked with had seen 4 pike and had gotten one he was thirty yards for me.

I just went out of the puplic landing good roads last year but dont know about it this year.

Start drilling holes, put a coat over your head and look down and see whats going on.

Or... you could do it like I do. Dig your hole, set your house and discover weeds are at the top of your hole then start all over again.

also been there......done that to all thee above. but if you go to minnewaska and set up id the general area you should be ok. clarity is really not much of an issue there. i did notice cause i went shallower i seen less fish. for some odd reason 14-16 ft is the magic number out there.
