Gardiner14
Im looking at few new lakes to hit this summer and came across these two lakes. Im just woundering if they would be worth trying for largmouth and smallmouth. I dont want exact locations but more just your opinion about them. Any thing helps i have no knowledge about them. Thank you
Deitz Dittrich
I see your from ND... are you talking about Baby lake and Clearwater in ND? Or MN?... Lakefinder only lists on Baby lake in MN, I have never fished it.. And lists 12 Clearwater Lakes.. Your going to have to be more specific. However, that said.. I love to hit new water. And often dont ask advice. Just prefer to hit it with what my strengths are. Some are complete busts.. some are gems in the rough!Enjoy!
Scott M
Baby is fun. If you're up in that neck of the woods, I would hit Mule, Blackwater, 13, Hovde, Portage, Little Boy, Ponto, Ox Yoke....some of the best largemouth and smallmouth fishing I've ever experienced. Gardiner14
Yes, both of the ones i am talking about are in MN. I think im just going to kind of wing it. May learn something by just doing that, and there is still a few months untill open water i can do more research still.
RK
da_chise you just rattled off a list of lakes I used to live on when I was in the Walker area... Kind of made me jump a little - heh. Many of the lakes in that area have very good, and very under-fished bass populations. Use the Recreation Compass on the DNR HSOforum to explore the map in that area, grab some lake info reports, and go explore.
