Custom made Vexilar case

Here’s another small project I recently did. My old Vexilar sonar case was too big to fit into my new snowmobile tackle box so I made a new, smaller housing. The battery is contained behind and under the Vexilar unit and wiring is tucked away in the back. A charging connection is embedded into the white plastic boss at the back and uses a standard “RCA” connector from a stereo cable. The charger has the mating connector and charging the unit is “plug and play”. The top of the box has a 1 ¼” dowel cut into the rear to provide a handle grip, and the transducer/float assembly fits into the compartment at the front of the box.
