Clam command post for spearing

Does anybody know if a Clam Command Post works well for spear (is it dark enough)??

Ok, well has anyone used any portables for spearing?

I used my hub all year last year. Works good, i need to fashion something to keep more of the light out, but it seems to work fine. I have not used a permanent ever, so i dont know the difference but this year i am going to use my quickfish 3 to see how that goes.

i only use one. I have a canvas craft!

Anything will work for spearing, just a matter of how dark it will be!

I have a canvas plus 6x8 suitcase style that had red ends on it so I took apolstery paint (black) and painted it up. worked for the get to gator this year very very well, I might add and I'm also in the works of remodling a 4x6 fold up porty that I got this summer
