Good Buy? - Used Vexilar FL-12

Have a lead on a Vexilar FL-12 Pro Pack for $250. It's been used about 9 times.

I researched pricing and it varies wildly online.

What do you think...a good buy? This would be my first flasher ever.

uhh, no that's a terrible deal... you should tell me where this is for sale at so I can call this person and tell them what a rip-off it is.

$450 new or $250 effectively new? sounds like a great deal to me

Deals like this always make me think about where the thing came from, but if they sounds legit (obviously owns other fishing stuff, isn't constantly asking if you're a cop) I'd go for it.

The person selling it is a long time friend of the family. I'm sure the condition and usage info is legit.

I used a fl-12 before getting my fl-20. No zoom on the 12 but the flat screen is great. I would scoop it up.

Apparently it's the 'Ultra' unit.

Snatching it up this weekend.

I'll test it out in my saltwater tank. I'm sure the Nemos will love it.
