I thought you had a droid? I loved my windows phone. You should look into custom ROM's. the things you can do with the windows phones are OUTSTANDING compared to androids. The only perk of androids are 1. its google stuff and 2. crazy amount of apps, but realistically most the android apps are stupid and lame. the windows apps all have a purpose for what they do.

That is good to know as I am shopping for a smartphone and so far the Droid is looking pretty good.

You might want to check into windows phones and custom roms since you could use a windows phone for your technical side of things you do for a living

When I go with a smart phone it will be for me, not for work. Different if they want to cough up the cha ching for it. I also like to be able to leave work at work as much as possible. For what I do that is not always possible and I spend a lot of home time working or at least checking work email and don't want to spend more.
