Pike depth?

I am heading out pike fishing Sunday on a local lake. I have never really spent much time pike fishing in the fall. What depth range should i target? What types of lures would u recommend to try? Any advice would be great.

This time of year they can be found at any depth. If you can find green weeds, there will be a few around there. As far as lures go, I would throw something big. Caught 3 last weekend on an 11" bait...

try to find some weed cover and fish in, around, on top, or on the drop close to this cover. anywhere from 5 to 20 ft, would probably start up shallow though. as far as bait, would start in the 7 inch range and go up from there. as far as what type....whatever works.....they are not the most particular fish.....i personally like things that have some vibration or noise. far from an expert, but when trolling i often use a jointed reef runner by storm and casting i really like this large brightly colored hard plastic crayfish thing(no clue what brand)

I would search for them in 12 to 15 ft with big jointed rapalas. I really don't think color matters all that much, bu I am pretty keen on pike color. Rattle traps are a good option as well.

like everyone else said find weeds and you'll find pike. I went out today for some fall pike fishing and we boated 5 over 30" two went over 35". All were caught in 7ft of water with green coontail. Good luck and let us know how you did
