Muzzleloader sight Question

Recommended Posts

I've been shooting the Triumph quite a bit lately at various distances. At 100 yards, the front sight pretty much covers the entire 12"x12" paper target.

Today, I picked up an Encore and noticed the front sight is noticably smaller and I really liked it. So I did some research. Turns out, the Triumph is equipped with William's sights that are .060, and the Encore has Truglo sights that are .040 (front beads).

Of course, TruGlo has this sight system for sale at $89.99. I called Williams, and .060 is the smallest the make.

Anyone have suggestions (besides practice, which I am already doing)? Maybe another sight company? I am not saying I'd like to whack away at deer 200 yards out there, but it would be nice to shoot at 100 yards with a touch more precision.
