Weather Website

I was wondering if anyone had a favorite HSOforum for weather, to find out if it's raining, windy, but especially the barometric pressure. I really like Weather Underground because they seem to be weather nuts, and because their "History" feature lets me check up on say last week's pressure, when I was catching fish, to today, when I haven't been. Anyone else have any favorites?

I seem to like AccuWeather and National Weather service web sites. I like the radar on the NWS and the extended forcast on AccuWeather.

i have weatherbug, the temp is constantly displayed on the right side of your menu bar when you are online, one click and it shows current stats. You enter your zipcode and it will find a weather station within 10 miles and keep you connected

I like one done by a private meterologist who lives in the UP of Michigan. He does regional forecasts that are pretty good. He does his own forecasts, and I have found him to be about as accurate as anything else out there.

It is an execellent site, loaded with information. It is geared toward snomobiling, but I find it to be one of the most informative weather sites that I use. It also has a lot of links to other weather sites as well.

He also has a journal that he keeps of his activities that include some photos of breathtaking pictures of the scenery up there.

Do a search on John Dee and you will probably come up with his site.

I like the National Weather Service site for general info.

I really like weather underground as well.

A word of warning about weatherbug: if you are concerned about internet security it creates a hole in your firewall that anyone can walk right through.

Ya ur right, feverpetal, but I think the fisherman are the only ones benefiting from this one.

Back to the topic, all of the web sites mentioned are good for at least one thing or another. The history feature on wunderground sounds kinda cool. I'll have to check that one out.

I always use weather.com because if your planning a fishing trip out of town all you have to do is type in the zip code or city name and it gives you the tempurature and all the other weather stuff you need to know and I never tried but it might even give you an extended forcast.
