Look at all you Cheese Heads already starting to make excuses. Injurys are a part of the game. Should be a cake walk for the Vikings to win the division once again even with the slow start. Look forward to another mooning from the Superfreak!! gringrin

I'd have to put ear plugs on from all the crying if the postions were reversed!!! smile

Lost more play-makers, which is never a good thing. Mathews was dominant, and the Packers had control of the game until he went out. Here's an interesting tidbit:

The Washington Post pointed out a glaring discrepancy in the Redskins’ offensive performance before and after Matthews was in the game. Take a look at the numbers:

With Matthews in the game for a little more than three quarters, the Redskins scored 3 points and generated 9 first downs, 172 total yards, 133 passing yards and completed 48% of their passes.

With Matthews out of the game for most of the fourth quarter and overtime, the Redskins scored 13 points and produced 12 first downs, 201 total yards, 189 passing yards and completed 58.3% of their passes.

Here is the updated injury list (don't know extent of new injuries) :

Ryan grant out season

Morgan Burnett out season

Nick barnett maybe out season

Al Harris miss first 6 games?

Bigby first 6 games maybe more

Chillar hurt who knows

Justin Harrell out season

Clay Mathewes - Hamstring (TBD)

Jermichael Finley - Hamstring Tendon (TBD)

Ryan Picket - Ankle (TBD)

Aaron Rogers - Concussion (TBD)

Mark Tauscher - Shoulder (TBD)

Donald Lee - Shoulder (TBD)

Derick Martin - Ankle (TBD)

Collins is banged up but played, so I removed him from the list. Tough to win with that many key injuries, including 8 starters. Crazy, never seen it this bad and it doesn't bode well for the rest of the season!!

with Matthews out you really could tell the difference right away McNabb was getting crushed the first half he couldn't do anything then second half Matthews out he has a big half and the pack fall apart. If you look at the NFC no one is good. If the pack was healthy i think they would run away with the NFC now i hope they make the playoffs

The packers defense was never the problem yesterday. Its the packers offense. Just heard a stat on the radio. In their last 3 games the pack has had 17 4th quarter possessions and scored a total of 1 TD.

Here is the updated injury list:

Ryan grant - Ankle - out season

Morgan Burnett - Knee - out season

Nick barnett - Wrist - maybe out season

Al Harris - Knee - miss first 6 games?

Bigby - Ankle - first 6 games maybe more

Chillar - Shoulder - trial practice

Justin Harrell - Knee - out season

Clay Mathewes - Hamstring - (TBD)

Jermichael Finley - Hamstring/Tendon/Meniscus - Out for Season

Ryan Picket - Ankle - (TBD)

Aaron Rogers - Concussion - (TBD)

Mark Tauscher - Shoulder - (TBD-DNP)

Donald Lee - Shoulder - Out 3 weeks

Derick Martin - Ankle - Out for Season

Collins is banged up but played, so I removed him from the list. Clifton is in the same boat. No word on whether Barnett is done for the year yet. Not good news on Finley or Martin, both now considered out for the season.

Shields and Chillar both practiced today, so at least some top backups will add some depth, even if it takes them a while to get back in the swing of things.

    • Your kid needs to stay with him!👍
    • My kid was eating in Beverly Hills and ran into this guy. Talked to him a bit and wished him luck in the game tonight.
    • 🤔as a recovering machinist!🤣🤣that must make me a recovering welder!
    • As a recovering machinist, I can appreciate that.  If the spec is 0.001 - 0.0015, then clearly the correct measurement is 0.00125, duh…
    • I just figured that it is easy enough to just get a 3 bank so when the boat is not in use I can keep all 3 batteries charged. I have not bough a charger yet, maybe I will give it some more thought. Edit: After thinking this over, with the size, weight, and heat output of the charger (as well as the cost) I think it makes sense to just buy a 2 bank charger, I have a smaller charger i can use on the starting battery when the boat is sitting at home. Forgive me, for i am a retired engineer and I have to obsess over everything...
    • Congrats on the motor!  I think you’ll like it.   I can’t say much on the charger location but I’ve seen them under the lid in back compartments and under center rod lockers.  160 degrees is more than I expected to hear.   Curious why you’re opting for a 3 bank charger with a 24V trolling motor.  Unless you don’t feel you be running you big motor enough to keep that battery up as well?
    • I did buy an Minnkota Ulterra, thanks for the recommendations. I had a bunch of Cabela"s bucks saved up, which helped. Now i need to get an onboard battery charger. Where do you guys mount these things in your boat? The manufacturer I am looking at {Noco genius) says tht their 3-bank charger will run at 160 degrees, seems like a lot of heat in an enclosed compartment? Thanks for any input on this.
    • You're very lucky a troop of Sea Monkey's didn't carry you away.
    • Wasn't terrible at a state park beach. Antelope island maybe.  I wouldn't recommend it as a beach destination tho.  Figured I was there, I'm getting in it.
