Dog Platform

Going to build a dog platform for hunting in water. Any ideas on the platform material. Needs to be strong, light weight and resistance to water.

What about some type of plastic (like cutting boards are made out of)?

I have no idea where you would get something like this though. Maybe a restaurant equipment supplier?

A high-density polyethylene sheet designed for consumer and industrial cutting board applications. A natural white color with a textured surface that prevents your knife from slipping or becoming dull. Both sides are textured. Easy to clean with hot water and soap. Dishwasher safe.

For this particular thing, you choose the size, 1/2 thick. I picked 24in x 36 in and it came to about $60.

Consider a dog platform by Avery. They are portable, light enough to pack in and adjustable to different depths. Got mine from ROgers last year and was a "best decision"
