Chilly Times Call For Chili Times

Chili is one of those things that is best when made from an idea, not a recipe grin So having said that, here's my general idea.

About 2 lbs. of venison burger. 3-5 cans of tomato sauce, not paste. 1 can each of chili beans and kidney beans. 1 (or 2) cans of cut up tomatoes (I use the spicy kind with onions and peppers included). Season to taste with tabasco sauce and chili pepper. Some like it hot, some not, so choose your tolerance level. Heat on low stove setting or crockpot for about 2 hours, then simmer as long as you want. It's pretty much a pour and dump recipe, but we love it.
