WMA with crops? Leagal to hunt?

I was hunting a wildlife management area that has either winter wheat or oats recently sprouted. A firend of mine said it was illegal to hunt there. I it told he was full of balony.

Anybody have any say on this?

There is corn and beans on public land all over around me and yes it is huntable.

Crops are perfectly legal to hunt. They just cannot be manipulated...ie..knocked down,scattered, etc...basically anything thats not a normal ag practice.
