Shorelunch
My buddies and I are planning a fall fishing trip to either Winnie/Cut Foot or Leech. We'd be fishing for primarily walleyes and muskie. From what I've heard Winnie has been going good this summer and is very good in the fall while Leech has had a down couple of years but has a good muskie reputation. Any thoughts or advice? Also, has anyone stayed at the Tamarack Lodge or the Gosh Dam inn at Winnie?
can it be luck?
Gosh Dam Place is basicly a hotel. Price is decent. Restaraunt right next door. They did ask that you dont clean fish in the rooms, I guess someone did in the past. Some people! I stayed at the casino in Cass Lake a couple of times in the winter. Took my girlfriend and stayed in the whirlpool suite, real nice! With the coupons used I payed no more than $35 if I remember right, cheap. This was during off season. Mn Walleye 1976
Winni would be my choice. We go there every fall. We usually have no problem catching fish. Last year we limited out with a day left to fish. We even had a couple of fish fry's earlier in the week. We'll be up there this year again. Last week of Sept. first week of Oct. Can't wait to get there.
