Starting problems please help

First off the car in question is a 94 Jeep Grand Cherokee with the 6 cylinder. I have been having zero trouble starting the car since I replaced the starter about three weeks ago until yesterday morning when I tried to go to work. It will turn over just fine like it has since I replaced the starter but it won't fire at all. I pulled one of the spark plugs and it was bone dry, and yes there is gas in the tank I had just filled it up two days prior. I also checked the fuses in the panel on the passenger side and the one under the hood and all the fuses were good. I really need to get this thing running again but I'm not real sure what I should check. My first thought was that the fuel pump went out but they usually will give you problem for a while first right? It just baffles me because it has been running perfectly and I just don't understand how it can run great then overnight not start at all. I would appreciate any input you guys have as to what the problem might be or what I should check next.

Fuel pumps can go out, just like that, no warning. When you turn the key on, can you hear the pump prime? Take a hunk of wood or something similar and rap on your tank a few times to jar the pump and see if it will kick on and start. If it does, time to replace and also check the wire harness to the pump.

I tried the hunk of wood thing and that didn't do anything. I also tried listening for the pump to prime but can't hear anything. I don't know if thats because its not working or I just don't know what I'm listening for.

94 should have a schrader valve on the fuel rail. Take the cap off and see if fuel squirts out when you press in the core. Make sure you stand clear when you do this. If it doesn't than its time to check for power to the fuel pump as close to the pump as possible. If it does than check for spark.

Ok a friend of my moms came over today and checked it out. He was going to do a diagnostics test but he couldn't find the plug in. He did however confirm that the fuel pump is working and that the problem is that there isn't any spark.

If it is the crank sensor, they would loose injector pulse as well.

Did you check to see if the injectors are pulsing? You can do this by holding the end of a screw driver to the injector. You will here a clicking sound if they are pulsing. If not, with no spark, I would go after the crank sensor. It is located in the bell housing of the transmission on the drivers side(if memory serves me correct).
