Anyone know where you can begin waterfowl hunting in pool 2? is it 494 bridge/Ramsey Co border and south? Also anyone have info on small islands in the Grey Cloud area near Spring lake? It seems that some are private islands, some owned by the mining company, but some are USACOE lands? Any info would help.

Go to the Boat ramp at St.P park, it will tell you which mile marker and downstream you can hunt

Never hunted Spring Lake islands but heard its a zoo and a prop buster

Thanks sneak, I am betting that it will be a zoo, just hopeing to hit it at odd times as I live really close, and hear the shots in the a.m. all fall long. I also have heard from a few people there are submerged logs everywhere in Spring Lake as well.
