Portable XM Player in the Boat?

I just picked up a portable XM Satellite Player and was wondering what would be the best way to have this hooked up in the boat? I assume that a portable FM Transmitter would work? Or is there something different because of the satellite signal? Any help or recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

If you have a cassette deck get a cassette tape adapters to plug in, if you have a newer cd player it might have a headphone type jack to plug the xm radio into, I'm assuming that you have a head phone jack on the XM radio? the fm transmitter should work but I noticed on my wifes car the sound was much more stable and clear with the cassette adapter.

My XM radio has a built in FM modulator works great. The XM radio I had before this did not have the built in unit so I used an external FM modulator and that worked good too. I have used the tape deck adapter also and it works I just find it easier to use the modulator.

Any direct connection you can get will be better than a FM modulator. If you have to go that route, Monster makes a good one.
