Channel Catfish - Excellent: Channel catfish have been biting well on stink bait fished on outer edge of vegetation from a boat or shore. Bluegill - Good: Try fishing around submerged structure or off of dam in 2 to 5 feet of water using small tackle and baits. Casey Lake is ready for ice-fishing and has received some light pressure. Caution is advised until ice thickness increases. Largemouth Bass - Good: Jigs tipped with a wax worm has been providing good action. There is an 18 inch length limit for largemouth bass on Casey Lake. Bluegill - Good: Try small ice jigs tipped with a wax worm off of the bottom around structure from the middle of the lake & east towards the dam. Casey Lake is ready for ice fishing and has received some light pressure. Anglers have been catching bluegill and yellow perch. Bluegill - Good: Try small ice jigs tipped with a wax worm off of the bottom around structure from the middle of the lake and east towards the dam. Yellow Perch - Fair: Concentrate fishing around structure, best times for perch have been during early morning or late evening hours.
