Trailer repair: where to find a new axle?

Hey guys - my snowmobile trailer went down about a month ago and my axle is shot. Any suggestions on where to get a new one? I've checked out Northern Tool, but they don't have them in stock and have to order them in. Does anyone know of a place around the NW metro that would have axles in stock? It's an 8.5' x 10' 2 place tilt bed SnoClipper trailer.

I would just head to the Norhtern Tool in Rogers to pick one up. I bet they have one in stock.

mnfishguy - that's what I thought too, so I called them. To say the guys was of little help would be an understatement. He did tell me they have to order them in, though, and it takes 5-7 biz days to get one in.

Try Crystal Welding in Dayton. I needed a new axel for my boat trailer a couple of years ago and then took great care of me. They didn't have the one I needed in stock, but I had it later that same day. Fair price and great service.
