Winnibigoshish Campsites

I'm interested in camping at the Federal Campsites up at Winni. (I tried that forum with little luck) It looks like there are four capmgrounds to choose from. I understand that one of them has electricity, but does anyone know if any of them have docks? If not, is it possible to beach at boat at one or more of them?
Has anyone camped at a couple of them and prefer one over the others?

My favorite is the West Winni Campgrounds. There's a small harbor, launches, good swimming on pure sand, but no electric. It's off the beaten path and I always find an open site there.

Tamarack Point Campgrounds is a nice one too with a nice launch right there.

I usually anchor my boat in the water in front of the campsite on both these campgrounds.

Are those up on Cut Foot Sioux? or are they on Winni?

Both those are Federal camps on Big Winni.

I've never camped inside Cut Foot before, so I can't help ya there.

Tamarack Point is on the east side of the lake, close to Cut Foot area.

West Winni is all by itself, on the west/SW side of the lake.

I can't find ANYTHING on the net to show me where those are. Maybe I'm looking in the wrong places... are they USFS campgrounds?

There is a nice campground right by one of the narrows up in the cutfoot chain.I can not remember what the name is but if you go up the winni dam road and pass over a bridge with a landing right next to it the camp is just a little further up.
