Used canoes??

Anyone out there know of a good place to find an old used canoe? I'm looking for the cheapest canoe I can find that is still seaworthy. I would prefer aluminum but anything will do.

Aarcee Rental in Minneapolis sells some of their used rental canoes each year. They're in hte phone book...

Don't know where you live, but a canoe rental place is your best bet, as mentioned.

Even up here in Ely, where Kevlar seems to rule, I see lots of aluminum canoes used at outfitters, so they are still common and likely some businesses wouldn't mind getting rid of some of their older models.

there's a dealer in mountain iron, minnesota that sells alot of used and new canoes....has around 200-300 in it's inventory...might be worth checking into..here's the site (spring creek outfitters)

sorry about posting that spring creek outfitters link....certainly no harm intended.......after reading there site....doesn't look like they ship the canoes or kayaks anyway....thanks.....jon
