New LM Chip old H2O GPS....

Would I run into any problems trying to run the newest Lake Master chip in a four year old B&W H2O handheld?

there was an earlier thread around January. If my memory is correct there was an issue with the 2010 lakemaster chip not working with the H2O firmware and that Lowrance had no intention of updating the firmware for the H20 anytime in the near future. Could be that Lakemaster did a work around but I would check on their HSOforum or call them to verify it will work on your model.

I ran the 2010 Woods/Rainy chip in my black and white H2O which is about that old with no problems. The 2009 Minnesota chip works also but I haven't tried the 2010.
