Find a local feed mill, farm supply store, Farm and Fleet (not Fleet Farm, since you're in WI) and buy some Trimec, or Super Trimec.

This fall, after the first hard freeze, spray the W.V. with the concentrate.

I have the stuff in areas of my lawn. Just to be clear, and don't laugh, do you mean to spray the concentrate itself, or after you dilute it per the instructions? I have never used Trimec before.

Wisconsin has booth Farm & Fleet and Fleet Farm

Fleet Farm is Mills Fleet Farm and Farm and Fleet is Blaine Supply so if in Wisconsin you have two store chains to choose from.

In Minnesota do not get confused because we only have Fleet Farm (Mills)

Booth stores could be consider a Mans Mall
