Steve Foss
Well, my biggest Kossack hit five inches across today. I've seen them 8-10 inches across with absolutely no pith or bitterness. Waiting to see just how big it'll get before I can pick it. Seems to add half an inch a day. Kinda eating away at my brain. OK, there's nothing controversial about it. Ralph Wiggum
Had some kohlrabi this weekend for the first time in many, many year. I love them, but unfortunately, the one I got was a bit woody
Steve Foss
Durn, I hate those woody ones. Give you bitter beer face and make you chuck them in the compost pile.
tweedlap
Foster,I planted six Kossaks this spring. The bunnies ate four and left two for me.Mine were ready about three weeks ago. I think the 8" diameter is about whatthese were.I was pleasantly surpised by how good they were.tweed
zzammon
That looks yummy Steve. My crop has been done for about a month in southern MN.
Steve Foss
My next size down are over 5 inches. I'm going to leave them in awhile longer. I'm for sure going to leave at least on in until it gets between 8 and 10 inches across.
