More opportunity than ever this year as Minnesota did away with the hokey two, 5 day hunting periods. This fall the season runs for 30 full days, from October 2 - 31. Over in Wisconsin, the season runs from September 18 - November 18, then again in parts of the state from November 29 - December 31. If you're a bowhunter and spend long hours in the tree this time of year you're just plain crazy for not having a tag in your pocket for that one or two chances we all seem to get every year.

Application deadlines are: Minnesota, this Friday, July 30.

Wisconsin, next Monday, August 2.
