Sealing top of camper

I was up on top of my camper to check the roof out and the silicone or whatever it is, is starting to peel up on the ends where the top meets the ends. What do you use to redo it and should I strip the others off?

I have a leak around one of my vents. i was told not to try and peel the old off, it's too difficult. I was told to just get some self leveling roof sealer (believe it comes in a caulk tube) and put it right over the old stuff. That's what my camper dealer told me, and I trust what he says.
