labeling minnow traps?

How does one label a minnow trap w/name and address etc? What do you guys use for your waterproof tag?

I just recently made a quick crawdad trap,I used a piece of white card board a sharpie and then taped it to a piece of aluminum with clear packing tape.After a week in the creek its yet in its original condition.

This winter I plan on taking it to a highschool shop class and stamping the info on the aluminum.

I caught one in about 30 feet of water last year and called the guy, he said he lost it years ago. The tag was basically a big steel dog tag.

Go to Harbor Fr----t and get a stamping kit and a piece of sheet aluminum and make your own. Those kits are pretty cheap and you will end up using it more than you think.
