vibration in 2000 explorer

Recommended Posts

ive got a 2000 ford explorer v6 with a very fast vibration at 60 mph and faster, and beyond 60 mph it gets louder and faster. im assuming its u-joints, but not sure. the ujoint at the tranny seems to be a little loose when u grab the drive shaft, and the rear is pretty solid. any thoughts??

If it seems to be a fast vibration, I would pull the driveshaft off and check it out. There is a huge difference between a slow tire rotational vibration, and a high driveshaft vibration.
