We're staying at Baker Park Reserve on Lake Independence this weekend. Anyone have any tips for bass? Last year we caught a bunch of small fish around the island and near shore by throwing shallow cranks.

I would stay shallow. Docks, weed island, pads...

  As a recovering machinist, I can appreciate that. If the spec is 0.001 - 0.0015, then clearly the correct measurement is 0.00125, duh…
