Swing Trailer Kits

Are there after market kits that convert a normal trailer tongue into a swing tongue. I have searched the web and have not found anything.

Cabelas has them in their catalog not sure but I think they run like 80 bucks!!

There a 100 bucks in the cabelas catolog. My friend had one on his f250, said he didnt like it, really never made that big of a difference, for him anyway.

Protrapper, the swing tongue is for a boat trailer to shorten the length of the trailer. Many of today's garages are too small to put a boat in. A swing tongue will take about 18 inches off your overall package length. I have one on my current rig and will definately have on on my new rig.

I would like to state that most of today's garages are bigger than many garages of the past, but the boats have also gotten a lot bigger and thus longer too. Just something for us all to think about, when we look at buying garages and boats, how much bigger do we really need to get?

I hear you on the garage sizes/boat sizes!

I am moving into a new house this weekend that has a 25' deep garage. Bring on the bigger boat!

The only downside, is that I am moving this weekend and will not be able to fish much!

Lots of nice homes with 3 stall garages in the 'burbs. Seems like most I've seen actually have a smaller 3rd stall! The people that design these must not own boats.
