Iceman12
I posted this on the metro section but I figured I would get more looks here. I am doing a speech on fishing and I am just looking for some interesting facts or knowledge about fishing. I am not looking for anything in particular. Any help would be great. Jim W
Well, there are many books on fishing. Might want to start there. I guess it depends on what kind of speech you are doing. Informational?Guest speakers?Biological and ecological perspectives?Certain species?Fresh water/salt water?Streams, lakes, rivers, res.Jim W
Iceman12
It is an informational speech. I guess it's going to be geared more towards fishing in Minnesota. I am also leaning towards the different species and maybe breaking it down between ice fishing and open water. I have just started the research and was throwing this out there. Iceman12
I have narrowed it down to the major species of fish and ways to catch them. Any help on this subject would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
Granny
I would do the speech on "Gods Country" up in the BWCA. Not a sound but your paddle going through the water. Your fishing pole propped between your legs with your line trailing behind. The great sites of nothing but Water, Woods, and Wildlife (good title to your speech). It makes you feel like your the first person to explore the area. No sign of humans except an occasional paddling pal and the hidden camp sites. The sun sets and the Loon's eerie cry echo's across the waveless landscape. Good luck!
