Rapala Max cast

Anyone look into these? I was tossing them out at the lake the other day and they sail off the rod tip. Nice size for early muskie baits too, of the four colors I picked I think they just might be the ticket for over weed beds and shallow applications. Also who else is gonna spend 15-20 a piece on them but muskie fishermen :)Try one out I think you may like it.

Max cast or Max Rap? They look nice but they have a pretty slim profile for muskie fishing.

My bad, max rap.....good call on the slim profile though might be more of a pike treat, they came out with the flat rap too which may be not so slim, but I think they are somewhat shorter not sure which size I got but I think they are the bigger ones of the two. I guess I am glad to see ol Rapala change it up with the new and coming styles of lures.

I've tried the Flat Rap and it has some nice wobble and runs really shallow. However the flat rap just isn't large enough for muskie fishing in the traditional sense. It's just my personal preference to use something a bit thicker that has a little bigger rattle in it.
