Big Bobber
1 48ounce jar of Randall Northern Beans, reduce liquid to top of label. Reserve the liquid in case your beans dry out during the smoking process. I usually smoke the meat and beans at about 200-225 degrees.Add: Dice 1/2 of medium sized onion.3/4 teaspoon white ground pepper.1 teaspoon ground yellow mustard.1 teaspoon mustard seed.5 ounces of honey.15 ounces of Famous Dave's Rich and Sassy BBQ Sauce.Mix together in pan and place under meat to collect the drippings. I served these at a pork loin dinner for a church last year and had great reviews. It gives a pleasant BBQ flavor with a finishing kick.Enjoy
Swimbait2009
When you say reduce the liquid, are you referring to the culinary method of reducing (boil it off), or the pour it down the drain method?
Cicada
My brother has a bar-frill and smokes his own beans. He used Bush's beans, adds a diced onion, mustard, brown sugar, and hamburger. He gets great comments on these. No special quantities on the ingredients, he just adds them until he gets the taste he wants. If you want a sweeter bean, you could substitute ketchup for the mustard.
Big Bobber
Pour out of the jar.

merkman
I know it is late but you might want to try green pepper in baked beans.I don't really like green pepper but when you cook it into beans it is really good!!!
