I've had this a happen a couple of times before and not what causes it or can I prevent it. Start the engine, it starts, doesn't [PoorWordUsage] any water. I stop, hole looks clear stick cable wire up the hole and have some yellow substance come out. It took a few times, but I got it flowing.

My question, what's the deal? Insects, [PoorWordUsage] from the water, what's the cause.

Could be a lot of things. Spider crawled up and built a web. Sucked some submergent vegetation through the intake that clogged it. Sucked up some sand/muck that clogged it. They're all possibilities. Also, some motors have thermostats so they won't pee till they're warmed up.

When it started to pee, its slow and steady. When I kicked it down, it was really coming out, which was nice to see. I kind of thought it might be some insects. Thought perhaps there might be some preventive solution to this or I was missing something.

I have had fantastic luck with removing the tubing and elbow and fitting s and blowing then out with compressed air. run the motor so the pee hole mater shoot right out of the motor. You can get sand in the cooling system that will block and re-block the pee system.
