Icons maxed out

So I'm maxed out on icons on my Lowrance gps (lms332c). My understanding is that I can save the icons for individual lakes in "files", and restore or upload them only when I fish that lake, which theoretically frees me up to use a lot more. There are a couple lakes we fish more regularly where we'd probably leave them up all the time just to avoid the hassle and have them be available immediately. However, I have no idea how to do this. Anybody walk me through it? I think I need a blank SD card, but how big do I need and how do I begin? Thanks

I would think you would need at least two sd cards. Put some lake data on one, the other lake data on the other. Delete the finder memory, upload the appropriate card.

When you're going to the other lakes, delete the finder memory, upload the other card with the other lake data on it.

I think it maxes out at 1000 or 2000, can't remember. And i've never actually counted them, but it's a bunch.
