Native sunglasses

midwesthunter

Question

For all those of you who own a pair of Native sunglasses, which lens colors do you prefer for?

I was either considering gray, brown, or silver reflex. The silver reflex is supposed to block the most light but it looks like it has less of a color to it compared to the gray.

Thanks for the help

I can't say I have a preference cause I only have what I have at the moment. My secondary pair has silver or blue reflex I'm not sure but they stay in the truck. My main pair that I use for everything cause I like the frames better has polarized grey lenses on that I use in everything sunny outside. I also use the sportflex for riding ATV through the woods or biking. I also have a set of clear lenses for mountain biking at night in the woods.

Have to say love these glasses and Native's service is top notch. KEEP your receipt on the them. When I got my second set the lenses coating basically came right off in 6 months so I called them and they replaced them under warranty. But instead of new lenses they had me send in everything and they replaced all the lenses and the frames to ensure proper fit of lenses to frames. In talking with them mentioned how I loved my first pair but the lenses were scratched up and frames were getting pretty loose and sloppy, they were 3-4 years old at this point. Well they had me send in those also under the lifetime warranty. $30 processing fee and they sent me an entire new set of frames and lenses. They are different color as they stopped making the color I had but still I think it's awesome. I ensure I keep track of these things as they are not cheap but if I can replace them every 4 years for $30 and get all brand new on lifetime warranty then I don't think I'll ever need any other sunglasses.

I only use the smoke color (whatever it's called). I was told that the others that came with the glasses are not polarized. Having polorized lenses sure is nice when you're on the water.

I have the lense color Bronze Reflex and am very satisfied with them in both high and low light conditions. I am soon going to order a new set of lenses as these, now 3 years old, are getting fairly scratched up. Just make sure which ever color you decide on that they are polarized.

If you have your original receipt/proof of purchase call Native on the scratched lenses and see what they will do. In my case I mentioned scratched lenses on an old pair when calling about warranty issue with new pair I had, $30 processing fee for for the lifetime warranty and they sent new frames and lenses. They said they had to do new frames as the lenses might not fit the 4 year old frames. So they match frames and lenses and sent an entire new set of everything, frames, polarized lenses and sport lenses. It seems like taking advantage of them, but this is what I was told to do by their customer service representative on the phone, hard to argue with them when they want to send everything brand new for the price of just new lenses.
