What's needed in order to regiter/license a 17ft. alum. canoe? We have had one in the family for years, but it never was used or registered/licensed, and i'm pretty sure there is no bill of sale to be found.

BTW- I know I could call the dmv, but they are always crabby!

go to the DNR central office in St. Paul. they are the most knowledgeable.

i went in there and said my uncle gave me this canoe (no registration, real old, etc) and they took care of it in no time
