Gunflint Lodge

Gunflint Lodge is one of the nicer, more successful resorts on the Gunflint Trail. Gunflint Pines is also nice, but much smaller - depends on what kind of experience you want. We'll be staying at the Pines' campground for several days later this summer (again). Summer fishing on Gunflint is tough, but a guided trip into nearby BWCAW lakes will produce trophy walleye.

Lady,

If you're looking for all-inclusive or just need a cabin to stay in the Gunflint Lodge is awesome.

They have the "comfy" cabins and you can go low-budget and rent one or two of their Canoers Cabins and use the more public facilities that are used by the outfitters and folks on their way to and from the BWCA.
You get the use of a canoe as well with a cabin rental grin.gif

The best part of Gunflint Lodge is the food if you don't want to cook a meal or two.

If you're going to fish and you're not using your own boat you can hire one of their guides--these guys know the area well and they're all nice people. You can even launch your boat from their private beach and they provide a slip for you.

Have a great time!
