Crabgrass

So I put down Dimension Crabgrass preventer at the prescribed time, but still ended up with several patches of it in my front and back yards.

Is there anything I can put down that will kill it but not harm my other grass? I bought some weed control stuff from HD that says its suppose to kill crabgrass but not hurt your lawn, but I am a little skeptical.....

Any tips?

It works. You can use a product called Drive 75 as well.

If the crabgrass is JUST starting to pop up, you could re-apply the Dimension product, as it has some post emergent control as well.

I will start with the stuff I bought and go from there. The Dimension was part of the Lesco fertilizer, so I assume I shouldn't fertilize again in such a short time frame.

You could do a light fertilizer, but you're correct, especially if you don't want to be mowing every 2 days if it ever warms up over 70 consistently.

Are you sure what you're seeing is crabgrass? If it's up all the way already I'd say probably quack, unless it's just along the street.
