Nieghbor cut down a couple huge trees and these were on the street. Kinda cool lookin being purple. It's about 1 1/4 inches long. 2 angles. I have been here 19 years and I have 3 monster trees and I've never seen them at this stage. They grow to about 6 to 8 inches in legth.

Nice images, WP. Looks like spruce. Most commonly planted were Norway, white and Colorado blue. All three get really tall/big.

Thanks. I used the macro with the flash and the curved shadow was from the lense. I liked the way it looked.
