sakazulu
My first ever WI opener. Any Walters to be found anywhere on that chain? A simple yes or no would be cool and I'll do the rest. Thanks!
MN BassFisher
I have a cabin on the first lake of the chain - Tabor. No Walleye there. Fished Roby and it's a tiny, weed hole, I'm pretty certain ZERO walleye in there. Burlinghame I've fished with little success for bass, but I've seen big ones in there. Problem is it's a circle and there's a lot of pleasure boaters usually, so if there are walleyes in there, which I doubt there's many, it would be very hard to target during daytime hours, now nighttime who knows? And as for the further lakes on the chain, I have zero idea. I have maps for the whole chain but I've never fished them. In fact, I went to Falk lake for the first time a month ago while I was up there. Looking at depths and the maps (they say walleye's are found in the chain) I would think that Love and Minerva could hold em! Next time I'm up there I'm gonna head up to those lakes and fish em. Sorry I didn't see this post around opener haha. But for future reference.
MN BassFisher
Was up there this weekend and did a little fishing. Lots of small bass and small northern. A good time, but no real size in Tabor at all for those two species. Had a nice bowfin follow up and surface but didn't strike.
