TICKS!

I was out in Banning SP this weekend and there were plenty of ticks out. If you go for a walk in the woods up there, check yourself well afterward.

We walked all of 200yds on a path through the woods and came up with 8 ticks between two people.

I've had about 4 on me so far this year and pulled somewhere around 8-10 off the dog. She gets Frontlined on Friday. I didn't do April with Frontline but used an old tube of Hartz I had still... won't make that mistake again thought it would work for April but guess not this April, be Frontline the rest of the year.

Frontlined the dog on Friday. Found one tick on her on Friday, backpacked all weekend in SHT and found one more on Sunday after we got home. Both ticks had bit but both were already dead, the frontline is working at least. I know some oppose putting a such chemicals on a dog but it works and since I live on a farm in northern MN now it's worth it.
