justfishingaround
I want to put a swim ladder on my 1999 Pro V 18ft. and has a 150 Vmax, first can the transom handle the extra weight of climbing on? and then there is the hole drilling holes in the boat for mounting . any comments or suggestions? marine_man
If you use appropriate length screws putting a swim ladder shouldn't be a problem... it's been done before.Be sure to use a good marine grade silicone when you install the screws and you shouldn't have any issues.marine_man
gunflint
I think that it's illegal to put a swim ladder on a Pro V. At least it should be.
solbes
I added a Garelick swim ladder, no platform, to my 1625 Rebel. An 1800 Pro-V will be just fine. It did come with 4 nice thick stainless through bolts with nuts on the splashwell side. No isssues at all and I no longer have to carry a ladder on board when swimming or skiing.
