I got 62 fisherman hours logged with 7 flats, and a couple sturgeon.

That seems like a better average than I thought I had logged. I must have added up the times wrong.

We pound the Shovelnose on crawlers...just gotta find a sand flat and toss a crawler or two out onto it with a 3/0-5/0 circle hook.

I am almost scared to go through my log and figure out my hour/fish ratio

Darren, are those boat-hours and fish totals that you show aggregated for everyone you fished with ? e.g. take the standard case where there are 3 people in a boat, wwg misses 3 fish (first hookset plus a couple that come unbuttoned on the way up to the boat), you fish without bait all night long, and I catch 2 MONSTER flatheads - all in 5 hours time - then you enter 2 flatheads and 3x5=15 boat-hours?

If so, then I don't feel bad about not updating my diary because you've been with for every fish that I've caught this year except one.

I am on 3 skunks in a row now, so my numbers have dropped, I am at about 1 fish per 9 hours.
